Sports Massage

Sports Massage is the ideal modality for enhanced performance, improved conditioning, faster recovery, injury prevention and treatment. It can assist athletes and active people in maintaining peak fitness by improving muscle and connective tissue health, tone, symmetry, balance and quality of posture and joint range of movement.

Sports Massage can be applied pre-event, inter-event or post-event; during recovery and maintenance period; or for injury rehabilitation; therefore the techniques used will be very different depending on the intent of the session: i.e. before an event as a warm-up, increasing blood flow, flexibility, and mental clarity; after intense exercise reducing muscle tension and calming the nervous system.
